Nancy Ellen Dorio

Nancy Ellen Dorio, of Bridgeport, CT passed away on Wednesday December 29th, 2021. Born and raised in Bridgeport, Nancy graduated from Notre Dame Catholic High School in Fairfield, CT, and went on to study at Sacred Heart University. Nancy enjoyed a long career at the Southern New England Telephone Company, followed by successful endeavors at an investment firm and in real estate management and sales. Nancy was blessed with a unique charisma and sense of style which charmed all who knew her. She was an avid traveler and explored destinations all over the world. She was always the life of the party and loved her family, friends, lifelong neighbors on Lycett Street, and of course, her loyal canine companion Harry. Nancy was predeceased by her parents John and Margaret McCarthy-Dorio, and loving sister Margaret Dailey-Dorio. She is survived by her cherished nephews John Dailey, his wife Lindsay and their daughter Rory of Trumbull and Colin Dailey of Canton, MI. She is also survived by her Aunt Jean Biagioni of Trumbull and numerous cousins. Nancy will be missed dearly, but always in our hearts. In light of the current pandemic conditions, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
