Jonathan Edward Barber

Jonathan Edward Barber, age 34, of Fairfield, passed away Monday, June 14, 2021.  Born in New York City, the son of Joyce Heffernan Barber and the late David George Barber, he had been a Fairfield resident for most of his life.  A graduate of Fairfield Warde High School, he received his Bachelor’s degree from Ursinus College in Collegeville, PA.  Jonathan worked as a call center agent for After, Inc. in Norwalk.  He was a pro wrestling enthusiast, and cared for the safety and nurturing of animals.  In addition to his loving mother Joyce, he will be sadly missed by his many aunts, uncles and cousins.  Friends may greet the family Friday, June 18, 2021 from 4-8 p.m. in the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield.  A prayer service will conclude the visitation at 7:30 p.m.  A private interment will take place in upstate New York on Saturday.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the ASPCA, 424 E. 92nd St., New York, NY 10128-6804 or NAMI of Fairfield, c/o 148 Beach Road, Fairfield, CT 06824.  For information or to offer an online condolence please visit www.SpearFuneralHome.com
