Gerald "Jerry" Bieling

Gerald “Jerry” Bieling, 89, of Shelton former long-time resident of Westport/Fairfield passed away peacefully on July 30,
2022, at his home. He was the beloved husband of the late June (Ferrone) Bieling for 55years. He was born in Norwalk, CT
on September 8, 1932, to the late John and Gertrude (O’Brien) Bieling.
He served in the Army and was honorably discharge. He became a Westport firefighter where he retired after 25 years. Jerry
loved to listen to country music and was a big football fan. His greatest joy came from being with his family.
He is the proud father of Linda Bieling and her husband Randal Carter of Trumbull, Jeri-Ann Bieling of Shelton, and Stephen
Bieling and his wife Cheryl of Trumbull, and their children Connor his fiancée Meghan McDonald, Tyler, and Kaleigh.
Friends and family may visit on Thursday August 4 from 4-7PM at the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Rd.,
Fairfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday August 5 at 10 AM at Church of the Assumption, 98 Riverside Ave., Westport CT. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
