Erik Erlin Granneberg

Erik Erlin Granneberg, age 80, of Southport, beloved husband of Catherine (Fingelly) Granneberg, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 7, 2023. Born in Everett, WA, the son of the late Harold and Phyllis (Kaiser) Granneberg, he was raised in Fair Oaks, CA and had been a resident of Fairfield and Southport for the last 46 years. Erik proudly served in the United States Army from 1961-1971 with two tours in Vietnam as well as service in Korea. He enjoyed a successful career in sales and marketing. Erik loved Ye Yacht Yard, boating on Long Island Sound, and travel, but above all else he delighted in time spent with his family. In addition to his loving wife, Cathy, Erik will be sadly missed by his two beloved sons, Nicholas Granneberg and his fiancé Lynn Raymond of Southport, and Christopher Granneberg and his wife Michelle Yin of Long Beach, CA; three cherished granddaughters, Sophia Granneberg, Lucy Yin Granneberg and Sophia Raymond; a sister Kristen Malone of Fair Oaks, CA; a sister-in-law, Victoria Fingelly and brother-in-law William Bodine of Fairfield, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters Peri Beale of TX and Niki Granneberg of SC. A service and burial with military honors will be held privately.
