Dorothy "Dee" (Echlund) Cook

Dorothy “Dee” Cook passed peacefully to her heavenly father on May 21st after a brief illness surrounded by her family. Dorothy was born in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late P.A. and Adelaide Echlund. She is survived by her loving husband Anthony, and her beloved sons James and John, as well as grandchildren Ethan, Ben, Serena, Christina, and John. Dee was a long-time parishioner of Christ Church Easton; she loved the church and served in many capacities over the years including cooking for dinners, serving as chalice bearer, altar guild member, and volunteer for many concerts. Dee was filled with joy and love and was a bright light in any gathering. She enjoyed cruises, playing cards with friends, casino games, and any social occasion. Before her retirement, Dee worked for many years as a secretary to the legal profession.  Memorial donations in Dee’s memory may be made to Christ Church, 59 Church Road, Easton, CT 06612 where her memorial service will be held on Saturday May 28th at 11 o’clock. Masks will be required in order to attend the service.
