Adele J. (Szafranski) Neilson

Adele J. Neilson, of Fairfield, beloved wife of the late James Neilson, passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at the Jewish Senior Services.  Born in Utica, NY the daughter of the late Stanley and Tekla Szafranski, she had been a Fairfield resident since 1962.  She was a dedicated and well-respected Registered Nurse and a devoted and loving mother who delighted in time spent with her family.  Adele is survived by her five children, Jimmy, Barbara, Paul, Suzie and Chris; nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild, a niece and a nephew.  She was predeceased by a brother and a sister.  A celebration of Adele’s life will be held Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Oak Lawn Cemetery, 1530 Bronson Road, Fairfield.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mrs. Neilson may be made to Jewish Senior Services, 4200 Park Ave., Bridgeport, CT 06604.  For information or to offer an online condolence please visit www.SpearFuneralHome.com
