Vicki Killian-Lehr, of East Haven, CT, passed away on November 2, 2025. She was surrounded by her loving family in her final moments.

She is survived by her loving husband, Blake, of East Haven; her brothers, Larry (Connie) and Mark (Sue); her son & daughter-in-law, Ben & Tiffany; her adored grandsons, Gavin & Austin; cousins, their families & countless dear friends. She is predeceased by her parents and her beloved dog, Chi-Chi aka Babycakes.

Vicki’s love for plants & flora truly shined throughout her 14 years of service at Choate-Rosemary Hall, where her hard work & dedication ensured that the school grounds were always welcoming and cared for. When she wasn’t working, she was spending as much time outdoors as possible, from camping and kayaking to trips to the Elephant Trunk and waterfront lunches. While her love for the outdoors & furry four-legged friends was a huge part of who she was, her two energetic grandsons became the reason she wanted to fight and stick around as long as possible.

Vicki’s unwavering love for her family and friends, in addition to her one-of-a-kind march to the beat of her own drum personality, will truly be missed by all who knew her. She lived her life exactly the way she wanted without caring about what other people thought & her absence will leave a void in many people’s hearts.

To commemorate Vicki’s incredible time in this world, a Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 16th, 2025 from 1:30pm to 4:00pm at the Branford Elks Lodge, 158 South Montowese St, Branford, CT 06405. We welcome all who knew and loved Vicki to join us in celebrating the life of a woman that left us too soon while still leaving such a mark on the hearts of those around her & will undoubtedly be missed.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Vicki’s name may be made to Posh Pets Rescue of New York , where Vicki & Blake adopted their amazing Chi-Chi from.
