Sandra M. Baldelli

Sandra M. Baldelli, age 80, of Stratford, passed away Thursday, September 4, 2025 surrounded by her family. Born in Norwalk, the daughter of the late Russell and Helen (Prochaska) Boutilier, she had been a lifelong area resident. Together with her first husband, Kelly Walsh, they raised eight children. When her children were older, Sandra went to work for Warnaco, Corvettes and ultimately Home Depot where she retired after many years of service. In her youth she was involved in theatre and ballet and performed at the Polka Dot Playhouse where she would meet her husband Kelly. Sandra enjoyed crafting; most recently, cross stitch and frequently displayed her work at local craft fairs and also in the Finger Lakes Region and the Poconos. She loved watching birds at her bird feeders, but above all else delighted in time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her children, Carol Walsh of Stratford, Patrick Walsh of Torrington, Christian Walsh of Shelton, Beverly Sheare of Shelton and Matthew Walsh of Bridgeport; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased three children, Kelly Walsh, Angela Walsh and Elizabeth Walsh; a grandson, Richard Morales; her second husband, Daniel Baldelli, six brothers and one sister. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at Oak Lawn Cemetery, 1530 Bronson Road, Fairfield with the Rev. Sam Kachuba officiating.
