Pasquale Angelo Razzano, 83, of Westport passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on October 14, 2026. He was the beloved husband of Maryann Walker Razzano, whom he met as a teenager in the summer of 1958 and has been in love with ever since. Pasquale was born April 3, 1943 to the late Pasquale Anthony and Agnes Borgia Razzano.
A graduate of Georgetown Law, Pasquale practiced intellectual property law for over 50 years serving as a trusted advisor for numerous clients and faithful mentor to countless colleagues. He brought home victory after victory for clients like Rubik’s Cube, Disney, Beatrix Potter, and Mars. Pasquale never met a leadership challenge he wouldn’t take on, leading Bar associations, homeowner groups, country clubs, and representing his friends in Westport as a member of the planning and zoning commission.
A true Brooklynite, Pasquale was a devoted fan of the Brooklyn Dodgers and New York Giants. He was also a traveler, a fisherman, a cowboy born in the wrong state, and a pirate born 200 years too late. With the catch of his life—Maryann—he visited over 35 countries and stepped foot on all but one continent. He loved being on the water in his boat, or watching the sunset with Maryann, drinking margaritas (or martinis), and listening to Jimmy Buffet and Willie Nelson. His greatest joys came in the simple moments with his family.
In addition to his wife Maryann, he is survived by his children Elizabeth Razzano (Terry), Pasquale Razzano, Jr., Susan Razzano, and Christyann Weltens (Jerrett). He also leaves his grandchildren Rainia Razzano, Michael Weltens, and Cecilia Weltens, siblings Frank Razzano and Theresa Oliveira and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A wake will be held at his home, 21 Covlee Drive, Westport, and friends and family may visit on Thursday, October 22 from 4-7PM. Please park in the Covlee Beach Association parking lot at the corner of Covlee Drive and Norport Drive. A Catholic Funeral Mass will be held at Church of the Assumption, 98 Riverside Ave., Westport, on Friday, October 23, 10 AM. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 1056 Daniels Farm Rd., Trumbull. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Parkinson’s Foundation.
