Norman H. Jacobson

Norman H. Jacobson, 91, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2026. He was born October 28, 1934 to the late Herbert and Winnie Slone Jacobson.

After proudly graduating from Texas A&M, he served in the US Army where he met the love of his life, Sue. Together they experienced many adventures full of art, camping, and raising a son, Eric.

Norman worked for decades for Byrne Inc., a general contracting company in Fort Worth where he helped oversee the construction of many buildings and landmarks citywide and across North Central Texas. He loved an instruction manual, and through the years made his own winter jacket, table, guitar, tv, and even computer! Though he was a little scared when Eric arrived without instructions, he managed just fine!

Norman is survived by his son Eric, his daughter in-law Mary, and his two beautiful granddaughters Scarlett Sue and Sabrina Lee who filled him with pride and joy.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday April 25, 2026 at 11am at Greenfield Hill Congregational Church, 1045 Old Academy Rd, Fairfield, CT 06824. Private burial will take place in Fort Worth. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
