Kathleen Durvas (O’Hara) Riley

Kathleen O’Hara Durvas Riley, born May 21, 1957, passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2023.

She was a longtime resident of Connecticut until her retirement to Milford, DE, where she worked as a home healthcare aid and was loved by her patients.  She enjoyed traveling, hiking, and her little dog Taz.

She is survived by her loving husband, Richard Riley; son, George Eric Durvas (Kimberly); stepson, Bret Riley (Jess); and stepdaughter, Meghan LaDore (D.J.).  She was a proud Nana to her 8 beloved grandchildren. Kathleen is also survived by her sisters, Colleen O’Hara and Joanne Choomack (Tim); her brother, Francis O’Hara (Margaret); along with a large extended family. She had a zest for life and will be sorely missed by all.

Friends and family are invited for visitation on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 from 4-7pm at the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield. A Prayer Service will begin at 7pm.
