Jeffrey W. Smith

Jeffrey W. Smith, age 76, a longtime resident of Norwalk, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2022. He was born in Norwalk on September 18, 1946 to Donald and Kathryn (Hunt) Smith.

After graduating from high school, Jeffrey worked his way up to become a supervisor at Nash Engineering Co. To say that Jeffrey loved cars was an understatement. In his youth he would build and drag race his own cars. Throughout the years he collected and maintained numerous classic cars, which he proudly drove down to local car shows to put on display. In his forties, Jeffrey decided to pick up golf, where he frequently played at Oak Hills course in Norwalk. His greatest joy, however, was being among his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Karen (Coppola), as well as countless friends and family members who loved him.
