James "Tennessee" Cruise, born in Chattanooga Tennessee July 1, 1936, passed peacefully Friday January 23 rd 2015 at St. Vincent's Center, Bridgeport. James was a long time friend of Pat (or as he would call him "Patty") & Tina Torraco. As a man of the street James had touched the lives of many. For a many years James worked at Tommy's Antiques in Stamford CT. He was a very unique man and once known he could not help but touch your heart. His companionship, perseverance, helpfulness & reliability were only some of his many attributes. James will be greatly missed but never forgotten. Besides his friends "Patty" & Tina, James leaves behind many friends and a legacy of stories and memories. The Torraco's wish to thank The State of Ct, Stamford Hospital, Tully Center and finally St. Vincent's Hospital for the compassion, care & dignity given to James Cruise.
