Dorothy L. Hood

Dorothy Hood, 77, of Sterling, CO., and formerly Fairfield, CT passed away peacefully on August 20, 2025. She is the daughter of the late Rev. James and Dorothy Buchanan Hood, and sister to the late Margery Hood.

Dorothy worked for many years as a teacher. Her devotion to her faith and her church will be her lasting legacy.

A Graveside service will be held on Tuesday October 14 at 11AM at Lawncroft Cemetery, Fairfield. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fairfield Grace Memorial Fund.
