David H. Gartner

David H. Gartner, born June 1, 1944, of Milford, husband of 57 years to Sharon (Fish) Gartner, passed away, November 25, 2024. Born in Brooklyn, NY, to the late Henry W. and Mildred F (Gartner) Worden, he had been a Connecticut resident since 1967. 

David  enjoyed a long career in Network Technology working for the Burndy Corp, NASDAQ and Priceline. He played Softball for many years retiring to coach Milford Little League, Daniel Wasson Senior league Baseball and Devon Knights Basketball. In addition to his loving wife, Sharon, he will be missed by his two beloved sons, David Henry Gartner II, and his wife Kristie of Johnstown, PA and Peter Frederick Gartner of Milford; five cherished grandchildren: Noah, Brady, Derek, Landon and Samantha; a sister, Judith W. Montrose and her husband, Vernon of Winter Springs, FL; two a sister in laws, Helen F Kropitis and her husband, John and Nellie F Poole; two nieces, two nephews, and two great nephews. He was predeceased by a sister in law Fredericka Walsh and brother in laws Gary Walsh and Donald Poole. 

A memorial services will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2024, 11:00 am at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 71 River Street, Milford, CT 06460.
