Daniel Rivera

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the untimely passing of Daniel “Dan” Rivera, beloved husband, father, brother, colleague, and friend. Dan passed away unexpectedly on July 13th, 2025 while on tour with the New England Society for Psychic Research (NESPR), a job which he loved and took pride in. He was a veteran of the United States Army.

Dan was hopelessly devoted to his family and his career. He was a fiercely loyal and stalwart friend, whose generosity, charisma, charm, and kindness touched the lives of everyone he met; in doing so, he helped change lives for the better.

He was predeceased by his mother, father-in-law, and beloved cousin.

Dan is survived by his loving wife, four beautiful children, his father, brother, three sisters, numerous cousins, and countless friends.

A public wake is scheduled for Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 2pm – 7pm at the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield CT. At the request of the family, no photography or videos will be allowed. All other services will be private and at a later date.
