Christine Cali-Brophy

Christine K. Cali-Brophy, 74, of Bridgeport, passed away on June 28, 2026. She was born in Yonkers, NY on May 9, 1952, to the late Vincent and Bobette Layman Cali.

For over 30 years, she owned and ran All That Glitters, where her interest in antiquities and jewelry became far more than a job. She had a keen eye for the history and craftsmanship in each piece she came across, and took pride in caring for that history, whether helping a customer find the right piece or adding to her own collection. Over the years, this interest grew into an impressive personal collection, gathered through estate sales, auctions, and the occasional unexpected find. She enjoyed sharing the story behind a piece with those around her.

Christine is survived by her son, Andy; her brother, Bill; and her sister, Carol. She was a loving grandmother to her three grandchildren, Cali, Cillian, and Teddy. She also leaves behind many friends who knew her kind heart and generosity. She was preceded by her parents and by Andy’s father, Daniel.

Friends and family are invited to a celebration of life on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at 1:00 PMat Black Rock Church, 3685 Black Rock Turnpike, Fairfield, CT. Private entombment will precede the celebration at Ferncliff Cemetery.
